What do I do if my purchase was damaged?

If you placed the order on your p-card, then you’ll need to contact the vendor and receive a Return Authorization from them if the product was delivered damaged. It will be your responsibility to work out the details on the return and shipment with that vendor. If you have question, you’re welcome to contact Purchasing for guidance.

If the order was placed with a Purchase Order, please contact the Purchasing Agent that placed the order for you. He/she will work with the vendor and shipper and make all the necessary arrangements to get you a new product in a timely manner.

How do I return a product?

If the order was placed on your p-card, it will be your responsibility to work with the vendor and receive a Return Authorization from them to return the product if they allow it. It will also be your responsibility to ship the product back.

If the order was placed with a Purchase Order, please contact the Purchasing Agent that placed the order for you. He/she will verify with the vendor that the item can be returned, and will make all the arrangements to ship the product make if the vendor allows the return. The Purchasing Agent will also verify that a refund or credit is received.

How do I cancel an order?

If the order was placed on your p-card, it will be your responsibility to call the vendor and cancel your order if the vendor allows it. If your order was placed with a Purchase Order, please contact the Purchasing Agent that placed the order for you. The agent will take care of cancelling your order for you if the vendor allows it.
