Surplus Vehicles For Auction (Bid Required)

Please take a moment to read the following information. Changes have been made regarding when bid winners will be contacted once the auction has closed. Due to the number of vehicles offered and the volume of bids received, bid winners will no longer be contacted on the same day that the auction closes.
THIS AUCTION will close Friday, August 29, 2025, at 2:00 p.m.
Accordingly, auction results, including validation of winning bids, will happen beginning Tuesday, Sept 2nd and bid winners will be notified on Wednesday, Sept 3rd and/or on Thursday Sept 4th.
WHEN AND WHERE TO SEE THESE VEHICLES
WHEN: Monday through Friday, between 8:00 am and NOON, and between 1:00 and 3:00 pm. Fleet auction vehicles WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE to inspect during Tuesday morning campus devotionals.
WHERE: Most of the surplus vehicles displayed below may be seen at the university service station, located at 840 E. 900 N. (southeast corner of campus). In the event that the current auction features items or equipment OTHER-THAN traditional vehicles, such as various types of trailers, ATV's, golf carts, etc., an appointment will be required to inspect these items prior to submitting a bid, by calling 801-422-5512. This is due to the fact that the physical location of these kinds of items changes frequently and they may be in a locked/secured area which may, or may not actually be "on-campus."
While test drives are NOT PERMITTED, you may ask the service station attendant for vehicle keys, so you can unlock, inspect, and start vehicles of interest. Bidders are encouraged to peruse the vehicle's service records PRIOR-TO SUBMITTING THEIR BID. To review service records and vehicle history, stop by the auto shop office, located directly across the street from the service station, on the east-facing side of the Brewster building by the mechanic bays.
FRIENDLY REMINDER - Bids are considered contractual by nature, and winning bidders, once identified and notified, are fully expected to complete the transaction and purchase the vehicle for which they were deemed "bid winner" status. Hence, bidders should ONLY submit bids on vehicle(s) that they fully intend to purchase in the event they are awarded the bid. Likewise, IT IS EXPECTED that prospective bidders will have inspected vehicle(s) of interest, (including service records), PRIOR-TO SUBMITTING A BID, versus waiting until the auction has closed to see if they're awarded "bid-winner" status.
